GIVS100: Global Impact Ventures to reduce 100 million tons of CO2e and positively impact 100 million lives.

Global Impact

01

Our primary objective is to create and support ventures that drive significant environmental and social impact. Our focus includes cutting greenhouse gas emissions, preserving and expanding natural habitats, and creating meaningful employment. Our commitment is to ensure that these ventures make a lasting, positive difference on a global scale.

Sustainable Performance

02

We emphasize the importance of strong financial performance. We focus on ventures that generate robust cash flow and EBITDA, enabling them to pay competitive wages and sustain their growth. This financial strength is key to reinvesting in further expansion and achieving even greater impact.

Fundamental Values

03

GIVS100 fosters enterprises grounded in fundamental values like integrity, trust, and collaboration. We are dedicated to cultivating supportive workplaces that enhance performance and contribute to the overall well-being of our workforce and all stakeholders involved.

We believe that to achieve our ambitious goals, it is essential to focus on some of the most pressing global issues. Our initiatives are designed to tackle challenges where measurable and transformative impact can be made at scale. Below are examples of key areas where we are actively working to drive change

1. Reducing Post-Harvest Losses

An astonishing 1.3 billion tons of food is wasted each year, which represents one-third of the world’s food production. This inefficiency contributes to 10% of global greenhouse gas emissions, while almost 690 million people go hungry. Tackling PHL will not only address food security but also drastically reduce emissions and environmental degradation.

2. Electrification and Emissions Reduction

Industries and buildings generate over 30% of global energy-related CO2 emissions. Fully electrifying these sectors could dramatically cut emissions, but where electrification is unfeasible, implementing advanced emission control technologies can cut emissions by up to 90%.

3. Curbing Plastic Pollution

According to UN estimates, one million plastic bottles are bought every minute, and up to five trillion plastic bags are used annually. Half of all plastic is designed for single use, discarded after one use. Without stronger efforts to curb plastic pollution, consumption could double in the next decade, threatening ecosystems. 92% of coral reefs are already affected by plastic debris, and by 2050, oceans could contain more plastic than fish by weight, emphasizing the need for immediate global action.

4. Restoring Ecosystems in Brazil

In Brazil, we are actively working on several impactful projects, including mangrove reforestation to restore vital ecosystems, mining rehabilitation to repair environmental damage caused by the industry, and initiatives to support small farmers in isolated areas. These projects aim to improve local livelihoods while addressing critical environmental challenges, from restoring biodiversity to ensuring sustainable farming practices in remote regions.
